'First Step' is an ode to the first wine we made together back in 2015 to raise funds for charity. We loved the whole process – and thankfully, so did our supporters. We didn’t realise it at the time, but it was the start of a bigger wine adventure. In 2018, Rollick Wines was born.

'First Step' Fiano is a refreshing, drinkable drop! A grape variety hailing from Southern Italy, this is perfect for a sunny day (or any other day, it's that good)!

GI (region where grapes sourced): Riverland
Colour: Pale straw with green tints.
Aroma: Bright aromas of tropical fruits, passionfruit, and melon.
Palate: The palate shows fresh flavours of pear skin, and green apple  balanced by bright and refreshing acidity, with a soft textural finish.

Vintage: 2023
Variety: 100% Fiano
Harvest Date: 15th February 2023
Maturation: 100% stainless steel fermentation and maturation before being bottled post vintage

Handpicked grapes were crushed and destemmed directly into the press and allowed 3 hours skin contact before pressing to stainless steel tank. The wine was fermented at cool temperatures in tank before regular lees stirring to build texture. The wine was then blended and bottled post vintage.
