I’ve been mates with the Scholz lads since I was a little tacker—barefoot summers spent
tearing through their vineyard. That place was our playground, and those vines, part of the
backdrop to growing up.
So when it came time to make something of my own, it made sense to go back to where it all
started. The Scholz family still farm the land with the same care and heart. I grabbed a small
parcel of Mataro—and with it, a whole lot of memories.
